11/22/63 – Stephen King
I’ve read quite a bit of Stephen King, but after reading all the way through The Dark Tower series, I felt like I needed a break. I’ve since read many other novels (most of which you can find here), but after getting 11/22/63 for Christmas from my mother, it seemed like a good time to jump back into the Stephen-verse. It took all of one page for me to feel like I was reunited with an old friend.
A Criminal Defense – William L. Myers Jr.
If it isn’t obvious by now, I tend to stay in the fantasy/sci-fi realm of fiction, but in between epic sagas, I like to squeeze in something completely different. I find it helps to break up the schedule, and I stay more focused if I’m not having to remember names, places, lore, history, and any number of other fantastical jargon EVERY time I pick up a book. A Criminal Defense slotted into that category for me, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth it.
The Atlantis World – A. G. Riddle
I couldn’t not read it. I’m a completionist, I had to. Based on my other reviews, I thought it would be ok, but I was wrong.
The Atlantis World is the last in the Origins Mystery series by A. G. Riddle. The first novel, The Atlantis Gene, was fantastic and I really enjoyed it, the second, The Atlantis Plague, had it’s moments, some good, some bad. The finale though…
Words of Radiance – Brandon Sanderson
I know, I know.. I finished Words of Radiance some time ago, and I’ve yet to write a review. I imagine most of you have been shaking with anticipation for the follow to The Way of Kings. At long last, it’s here.
The Atlantis Plague – A. G. Riddle
The Atlantis Plague is the second book in the Origin Mystery series by A. G. Riddle. I read the first one awhile ago and liked it so much that I immediately bought this one, but I made the mistake of not immediately reading it. I’ll be totally honest here. I’ve been working on this review for a long time, longer than the quality of the book should warrant, but I’ve been having the hardest time forcing myself to write this review.
